Looking for Issue Writers
I would really hate to lose the Natural Beauty Guide, as it does bring people good information and is visited often from search engines. This would be a great avenue for someone to use to write articles who have a love for natural beauty.
I can not afford to pay anything to those who would like to contribute. However you will have your site referenced and you will be referenced as a main contributor, if you would like to contribute a monthly issue please contact me.
With your issue you will be able to link to your site so visitors know who is writing it. With the changing guidelines of WordPress.com Free blog affiliate links may or may be allowable depending how they are used. If you would like to advertise your site further than that we can discuss upgrading to allow for that.

Cold Weather Skin Issues – Beauty News

Time for Coats and New Skin Regimen
Are you ready for the cold weather? Me either! It’s here though for most of us. Have you prepared your skin? This is the time of year that you will have to exfoliate more often and use a different moisturizer that has more umph in it! I talk to a lot of people who don’t really give much thought to seasonal moisturizers, but it makes sense your skin reacts different in each environment it is in. Having a skin regimen for summer and winter is important to keep you looking vibrant and your skin feeling it’s best.
Not only is exfoliating and moisturizing important to how your skin looks and feels but it’s also important for how your makeup will look when you apply it. Have you ever applied your makeup to all of a sudden notice that hideous dry patch? Winter certainly has a way of bringing those out doesn’t it? Even for those who tend to have oily skin all the other times of the year!
The type of makeup you use is another factor especially in winter months. Let me explain why. When your skin is drier it will absorb whatever you put on your skin, so if your using products with chemicals your going to have breakouts, whether your prone or not. That is just a fact, chemicals cause breakouts. Be mindful of what products you use…Natural Made are the Best choices. Check out Ferro Cosmetics
to learn more about natural makeup and it’s benefits.
I have cleaned up the guide some, got rid of a few post so now certain issues are missing there parts, but thats ok. We are now only offering monthly issues and that will be available by the archives. No more numbering the issues, yeah for me, so much easier.

Cherokee Soap/Nature’s Emporium Soap Company – Recommendations
There are many things that are important to me when it comes to soaps. One of the biggest issues is that it is naturally made without chemical preservatives! Next, it will last a bit and those who have experience making them are able to do this with great success using all natural additives (I tried my had and this and it is hard to do and I gave up trying to master it and decided to go back to buying from those who know their stuff). Scents are also another quirk of mine…it HAS TO SMELL GOOD! Lastly the price has to be reasonable.
I bought my first bar of Nature’s Emporium Soap at Pow Wow this summer…he had a sweet deal and wished I had taken it BUT no matter what the claim I always try it first to see it the claims are true! Obviously wishing I had taken the deal there I must love the soap and I do! It has all the things I look for in a soap and none of the things I don’t! Variety of scents are awesome!
An excerpt from the site: “All of our products are lovingly hand made, and due that that nature, no two batches of our products will be Exactly the same, though the differences will be small enough that they would never interfere with your delight in our products.”

To batch one, add cherry fragrance oil and 2 drops of red food coloring. Stir gently and pour into popsicle molds. Add a popsicle stick (you may wish to use something to prop the stick in the center of your liquid soap, including a piece of mesh or paper, with a slit cut into it.

What You Didn’t Know about Mineral Makeup Foundation – Makeup Tips
![]()
Applying Mineral Makeup Foundation is quite easy as you know, but did you know you can apply it in more than one way?
Initially most people apply it dry from the container, starting at the hairline and swirling in downward motions across the cheekbones and towards the nose. Applying in layers to get the desired look.
However, if you have really dry skin or “older” skin you can mist your face with water or what I like is 1 part lotion , 4 part mineral water solution and then apply the minerals.
Here is another clincher, for those who haven’t tried mineral because they love their liquid too much to give up, guess what?! All you have to do is add water (I prefer mineral or spring) to your desired consistency then apply like you would your liquid. So liquid foundationist (my own word there LOL) you can now transfer with the rest of us to the wonderful world of Mineral Makeup with out giving up what you love!
