What You Didn’t Know about Mineral Makeup Foundation – Makeup Tips

Applying Mineral Makeup Foundation is quite easy as you know, but did you know you can apply it in more than one way?

Initially most people apply it dry from the container, starting at the hairline and swirling in downward motions across the cheekbones and towards the nose. Applying in layers to get the desired look.

However, if you have really dry skin or “older” skin you can mist your face with water or what I like is 1 part lotion , 4 part mineral water solution and then apply the minerals.

Here is another clincher, for those who haven’t tried mineral because they love their liquid too much to give up, guess what?! All you have to do is add water (I prefer mineral or spring) to your desired consistency then apply like you would your liquid. So liquid foundationist (my own word there LOL) you can now transfer with the rest of us to the wonderful world of Mineral Makeup with out giving up what you love!
